Canadian rapper Bvlly, 24, was killed in an early morning shooting on Christmas Eve following livestream
Rap star Bvlly - real name Jahquar Stewart - has been shot dead, it has been confirmed.
According to CP24 , he was shot near a townhouse block in Oshawa, Toronto, in Canada early Tuesday morning, police say.
The Canadian Press have claimed officers were called to the home around 3:00 am. after receiving reports of gunshots in the area.
They say Stewart, 24, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Local publications reported that residents from the housing development were startled by sounds of gunshots.
A neighbour told CP24 he was in his garage nearby livestreaming when he heard seven gunshots.

Another witness said she saw a white vehicle speeding away from the scene.
Bvlly was a rising hip hop artist in the city of Toronto where he was building his name as a reputable independent artist climbing the ladder in Toronto's highly-famed rap scene.
The rap star released his debut first single "No Light Bag" in 2018 and went on to unveil his full-length album "Made In Austria" this September.

Bvlly had released the Mack Dizzle-assisted “Jungle” video in support of the project earlier this month.
Following the tragic Christmas Eve shooting, supporters of the rap artist rushed to social media to share their tributes.
One user wrote: "Rest up brudda."
They say Stewart, 24, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene
While another shared: "Damn bruv," followed by numerous broken heart emojis.
A third added: "Bvlly was my favorite Toronto rapper. Cant believe he is dead. This is so sad."
One music fan posted: "Damn rip Bvlly probably one of the best artist coming out from Toronto."
Police say they do not have any suspects in custody and are continuing their investigation.
